With both the House and Senate in session yesterday there
were 78 bills introduced. One of those bills may be of specific interest to
readers of this blog:

1129 A bill to authorize appropriations for the Coast Guard, and for other
purposes. Sen. Sullivan, Dan [R-AK]
This is the bill that I
mentioned earlier this week. A copy of the text (official or otherwise) is
still not available. I will be watching for cybersecurity issues as well as
chemical transportation safety and security requirements. A reminder: the
Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee will mark-up
this bill up tomorrow.
