Yesterday, with both the House and Senate in session, there
were 80 bills introduced. Of those, two may be of specific interest to readers
of this blog:
S 536
A bill to promote transparency in the oversight of cybersecurity risks at
publicly traded companies. Sen.
Reed, Jack [D-RI]
The first bill will only be covered here if it contains
cybersecurity provisions, particularly control system security provisions.
It will be interesting to see if the Senate bill
specifically addresses the unique issues related to control system security.
