Yesterday the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence held a markup hearing for HR 3523, the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act of 2011 (NOTE: GPO copy is now available). It wasn’t a closed hearing, but there is no record of what was done, nor is a copy of the video of the hearing available on their web site; just a listing of the hearing. I noted that this would probably happen in yesterday’s blog on the introduction of this bill. Well, we’ll just have to wait until the Committee report is published; assuming of course that the bill was approved in yesterday’s meeting (almost certainly).
