The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs announced two upcoming hearings that might have some bearing on the implementation of security rules at chemical plants. Both hearings are scheduled to take place next week
On February 13th the committee will look at “The Defense Department’s Homeland Security Role: How the Military Can and Should Contribute”. On the 14th they will look at “The Homeland Security Department’s Budget Submission for Fiscal Year 2009”. No details were available today about who will be testifying.
