Yesterday, with both the House and Senate in session, there
were 48 bills introduced. Of those one may be of specific interest to readers
of this blog:
HR 1224
To amend the National Institute of Standards and Technology Act to implement a
framework, assessment, and audits for improving United States cybersecurity. Rep.
Abraham, Ralph Lee [R-LA-5]
This is the bill that I
mentioned in yesterday’s blog post. The GPO does not yet have the official copy
of this bill, but the Committee web site does have a committee draft available
along with a list of proposed amendments. I haven’t had a chance to review
these yet.
