Legislative Housekeeping, 118th Congress – 2-2-25

Last week, the GPO published the text of two more bills that I was tracking in the 118th Congress. This leaves just two final bills from the 118^th that I would have covered if they had not been introduced so late in the session (December 11^th, and December 21^st respectively). The two bills published this week were:

S 5600, the NASA Transition Authorization Act of 2024, and

S 5610, the Invest in Our Democracy Act of 2024.

Bills Introduced – 12-18-24

Yesterday, with both the House and Senate in session, there were 82 bills introduced. Two of those bills would be expected to receive additional coverage in this blog if there were time left in the session for actions to be taken on the bills:
