The Subcommittee on Intelligence, Information Sharing, and Terrorism Risk Assessment announced that they would be holding their first hearing on HR 6193 (see: "Controlled Unclassified Information Framework") on Wednesday, 6-11-08 at 10 am. The scheduled witnesses, so far, are:
- Meredith Fuchs, General Counsel, National Security Archive
- Patrice McDermott, Director, OpenTheGovernment.org
The GPO now has a publicly available version of this document on-line. The short title is "Improving Public Access to Documents Act of 2008". I have not yet had a chance to read this carefully. More details will follow when I have had a chance to do so.
